The MRC's Research Information Systems Division is responsible for co-ordinating the development and operation of SAAVI's data management infrastructure under the auspices of the Bioinformatics and Data Working Group.

The system is designed to be compliant with the requirements of various regulatory authorities and relevant information is published to the division's secure web server at http://www.healthware.org for collaborative development with other partners at participating study sites and laboratories.
